I routinely ask clients that come into my office that if they accepted that their marriage is over, have they thought about their goals at the end of the divorce? What do you want to get out of your divorce? If you can’t tell me your goals and you want me to be your lawyer, how can I guide or advise you? It’s a bit like driving in a car without a destination.
I am not telling you that you will get everything you want. You need to have realistic, reasonable goals. So, first, if you haven’t thought of them, write down the items in order of importance to you and then break that list down three ways.
First, what are the items you must have and will not bargain away. Second, what are the items you would like to have but could live without. Third and finally, what are the items you do not want or consider items you could bargain away without much thought.
Think of the issues that will come up during a divorce such as avoiding embarrassment (if you committed adultery, have a criminal conviction/DUI, have a sensitive position of employment); custody of your children; child support; alimony; medical expenses and health insurance for your children; parenting time with your children; property division (home, bank accounts, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, business interests, investment accounts); removing your spouse from the home; and maybe even ex-girlfriend revenge!
Why is it important to list your goals? For one, you need to know what you want so that you are not fighting over unimportant issues to you. Believe me, an attorney is expensive and s/he will charge you for just about every minute of her/his time.
PLEASE do not tell your spouse of your goals. Our legal system is adversarial not collegial meaning that the person you once vowed to stay with “through sickness and in health” is about to become your adversary. I’ll tell you again because it is vital…your spouse is not your friend! Anything he or she gets is something you wil not get! Knowing your goals and maybe figuring out your spouse’s goals in the process will help you focus and achieve your ends. If you go to a trial, there will be a winner and a loser. Your case is not an example of “Biggest Loser” so don’t become one!

Rise of the Argonauts has been one of the most awaited game releases of 2008, especially for Codemasters fans who have tasted sumptuous fare from them before in games such as IGI, Operation Flashpoint and Overlord. With a Greek mythological tale behind it, there is little that can go wrong, especially since Rise of the Argonauts revolves around the legend of Jason and the Golden Fleece. The graphics released in various demos all over the Internet look superb - they have not just impeccable graphics but also a grandly creative imagination supporting the designs. Look at Artemis’ equine-plant avatar and you will understand. Even Hercules has been revamped for this package. Here he is really a monolith, a mighty man-mountain who will actually be a character within the game.
The game begins with Jason’s wife being slain on the day they were about to be wedded and then Jason taking the ex-girlfriend revenge of her murder by killing her slayer. But at this time Jason understands that there is something that can bring his dead wife back to life. This is the Golden Fleece and if he wants his wife back, he needs to suffer various hardships to bring this Golden Fleece to her. The main theme of the game revolves around Jason’s exploits in acquiring the Golden Fleece. For this he has to journey to Argos and the journey is not going to be one without peril. But, he can enlist helpers to assist him in his task. These are the Argonauts.
A great part of the strategy of the game is in selecting the right Argonauts for the task. Codemasters has not yet released the complete list of Argonauts that will be available. The ones that are confirmed are Hercules, Atalanta, Pan, Odysseus and Achilles. Other possible Argonauts that will help Jason with his task could include Ephemus, Orpheus and Philoctetes. Each Argonaut will have a special skill, such as Hercules has his extremely immense strength (he stops a wild boar with his bare hands in one of the demos released) and Atalanta is higly dexterous with the bow and arrow.
The game makers have taken various liberties with the main plot in order to make it more palatable to the game version. There are some romantic elements added too. In the original version of Jason and the Golden Fleece, there is no dead wife that Jason wishes to resurrect with the Golden Fleece. There the quest is to obtain the fleece for himself to protect himself from his uncle. There are many such plot liberties throughout the game, but they do not take away anything from this promising to be a fabulous game.
Both the sound and visual effects are stunning, with no efforts spared in either. The weapons, especially, are of notable appeal and that is what takes this Greek game several leagues ahead. Action scenes are well conceived too as is seen from the previews of the game. The levels are designed on the particular traits of the Greek Gods with a boss monster in each.
So far, everything is going good for Rise of the Argonauts and there seems to be nothing stopping this game from becoming this year’s holiday blockbuster. Let’s wait and watch.

This year, why not paint a Halloween pumpkin? A painted pumpkin will outlast a carved jack-o-lantern by months and can even be repainted for use as a Thanksgiving decoration. With a little imagination, painting pumpkin faces will become a real family treat.
My ex-girlfriend revenge and I stumbled upon these pumpkin painting ideas quite by accident. A couple of years ago we had the grand kids here in late September. On a whim, we decided to visit a local pumpkin patch and let them pick out a couple of pumpkins to carve for Halloween. The patch had a little stand set up with various fruits and vegetables for sale, along with a nice supply of jams, jellies and preserves. I think that is the main reason my ex-girlfriend revenge wanted to go there! Displayed prominently along the back wall of the fruit stand were several of the cutest painted pumpkins we had ever seen. I told my ex-girlfriend revenge we had better price a couple of them on the way out.
After picking out a few nice sized carving pumpkins we headed back to the stand and were knocked off our feet when the clerk told us the prices for the painted pumpkins. There was nothing less than $40! Most were $50 and up!
That got my creative juices flowing. Our smallest granddaughter had fallen in love with one of the painted faces and I just would not let her down. As soon as we got home I went straight to the internet and was surprised to find relatively few listings for pumpkin painting.
Next was a trip to the library with the same miserable results. I knew there had to be a source for pumpkin painting patterns and ideas, but where was it hidden. Back on the internet I finally stumbled a cross one neat little ebook that included a list of all the necessary paints and patterns I would need. I bought it and had it downloaded and printed within a few minutes. A quick trip to the hardware store for supplies was followed by about an hour of intense artistic endeavor.
You should have seen the look on my grand kid’s faces when I came out of the garage with my first masterpiece! What would have cost over $50 at the pumpkin patch I had slapped together for less than $15. The best part is that I had plenty of paint left over for more pumpkins.
These painted goblins have become quite popular in our neighborhood. Each year, as soon as I begin putting them out for decorations, my phone and doorbell start ringing with requests. It has really become a very profitable hobby.
You do not have to be an expert artist to create some creative spooks and goblins. A little paint and some simple instruction is all you need to paint a Halloween pumpkin.

This is not an article about the effects of the natural characteristics of the Signs on Venus. I chose the word “Failure” in the title for this article because it is a statement of fact. Just stop and think about it, does your phone ring any less, or with less interruption, since you called and had your name added to the infamous “no call list?” For retired persons or for those who work at home, it is even more annoying because one is home all day to catch the rings and in most cases must answer the phone. Sure, one can let the phone go to “the machine” or to voice mail but if you are in business and working at home, that may be a missed opportunity or even money you have ignored.
The worst of these calls is the one that you answer and there is no one on the other end. Nothing but silence greets your “XYZ Services, May I Help You” and your repeated “hellos” figuring someone will come on the line. Be assured that this is a telemarketing technique. What the system that the business or telemarketing center uses does, is automatically and randomly call people from the business’ client list. The loophole in the Do Not Call List is that if you are already a client or use a current service of the business or company, you are viewed as having “opted-in” to their communication with you. They can call you until you contact them and tell them you do not want them to call you.
Now you are asking, “Why then is there no one there when I answer?” It is because the system is used to record the time of day that someone regularly answers the phone. Note the use of the word “regularly” here. They actually call more than once in order to establish a pattern so that a marketer or salesperson can call you at a time when you are very likely to be there to answer the phone and have to deal with their call and sales pitch.
The most common of the businesses employing this technique are credit card companies. If you have or in some cases have had, a card/account with their company, you are now on their “opt-in” list and their contact with you can be labeled a “client service call.” This much I learned from grilling a Citi marketer about why he could call me to solicit an upgrade for my card if my number was on the Do Not Call List. Since I have caller ID, their number remains in my call menu list and this allowed me to call that number and wouldn’t you know it, my call was answered by a salesperson. They actually hope you will call them back!
The other method used by companies that have you on their client list, is to use a telemarketing provider in another country. I was told by Inteleservices Canada that they could contact me because their service was not subject to the requirements of the Do Not Call List.
An acquaintance of mine recently told me about a method he had seen on the Internet that he was using to get ex-girlfriend revenge on the “nobody there” callers. He says he has been doing this and has seen a decline in daytime and early evening calls of this type. Maybe it works and maybe it doesn’t, but if you are a work at home Mom, entrepreneur, are retired or just home with a cold, why not give this technique a try.
Here’s the solution. After you have answered the call and realize there is no one there, quickly start hitting the # button on your phone, five, six, even 10 times. This is said to disrupt the automatic random dialing system and make it kick your number out of the list system. If you have Caller ID, I recommend keeping a list of the numbers that you do this to and check future calls against that list to see if you get another call from them after using this solution. I have done this, only one number has called again, and that was later in the same day. I gave them the same treatment and they have not called back!

Anyone who is saying the words “My ex-girlfriend revenge cheated on me and now I want her back” is going to be going through a tough time of it. Thoughts and emotions are going to be running wild and the thought of trying to get her back is a tough one to cope with. You want to know where to start without letting her think that you are week and going to easily forgive her. On the other hand you don’t want her to think that you don’t want her back so that she is pushed further into the arms of another man.
Coping with your emotions is the first thing that you should be thinking of tackling. If you can’t get yourself together how are you going to start thinking rationally and with logic instead of acting out of emotion. If you continue to go down this path then the chances are that you are going to start speaking with her and end up in yet another massive row - planning what you are going to do and when is the key to being successful. But remember, you wont be able to do this if you don’t clear your head and know where you want to be.
Think about what was good about your relationship before the affair happened but think about what was bad as more often than not, there is always something bad going on before she cheated. Weigh up how you really feel in the cold light of day and think rationally.
Try to avoid further confrontation and keep her at a distance until you have got your head together.

The words “rose of Sharon” comes out of the Old Testament in the Song of Solomon. The verse reads:
“I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.” (Solomon 2:1)
Here are some facts about this verse and how it may be related to Jesus.
- Nowhere in the New Testament is Jesus actually referred to as the rose of Sharon. However, He is “symbolically” referred to as the rose of Sharon.
- You are right about Sharon being a place. Sharon is a plain - it is one of the largest valley-plains in all of Palestine. Back at the time of Solomon, it was considered a wild, fertile plain that had a lot of beautiful flowers in it. Sharon was supposed to have been known for its beauty and majesty back in those days.
- The person saying she is the “rose of Sharon” in the above verse was a Shulamite woman who apparently was Solomon’s bride.
- Here is the reason that I think people like to use the analogy of Jesus being the Rose of Sharon. The New Testament refers to Jesus as the Bridegroom and the Church as His Bride. This tells us right here that God is using the “lover” analogy to describe the relationship that He wants with us and that He also wants us to have with His Son.
However, in the above verse, the person saying she is the rose of Sharon is a woman, not a man. Jesus is obviously referred to as “male” since He is always referred to as “He” in the Bible. The rose is supposed to be considered the most “perfect” of all flowers. You will notice that Jesus is symbolically referred to as the rose of Sharon. Jesus is perfect in His God nature. He thus can be considered the “actual” rose of Sharon since He is totally perfect within His own nature - just like the rose is supposed to be considered the most “perfect” of all flowers.
Normally in a husband-ex-girlfriend revenge or boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, it is the male who gives roses to the ex-girlfriend revenge or girlfriend. Since Jesus is considered the Bridegroom in His relationship with His church, it would thus be Jesus coming to us to give us the flowers. However, in this case, God may be going one step further in allowing this analogy to be made of His Son.
I feel like God may be trying to tell us that Jesus will go one step further. Instead of Jesus being the one who would “give” us the flowers as we have in our normal human relationships, Jesus is actually referred to as the flower itself! And with the rose being the most perfect of all flowers, God is telling us that His Son Jesus is the Rose of Sharon rather than just having Him be the One to just give us this rose flower due to His perfect nature and perfect love that He has for all of us.
Women love flowers. They love the way they look and smell - especially roses. I feel God wants us to have realization of how special His Son Jesus is to us and He is using the rose flower to compare His Son with so we can truly appreciate the beauty and perfection of Jesus and the perfect love that He has for each and every one of us. Bottom line - Jesus is perfect love just as the rose is the most perfect of all flowers in its looks, beauty and smell.
By using the rose flower as a “visual symbolism” of Jesus’ love for us, we can better appreciate or “see” what God is trying to tell us in the personal love relationship that He wants to establish with each and every one of us. He wants us to realize how “special” His love is for us and that He wants more than anything to be able to enter into this personal love relationship with each one of us.
The above is my own personal opinion on what this analogy is referring to. I’ve always had a good witness that God the Father does approve of us using the Rose of Sharon to symbolize His Son’s love for us even though it is not actually stated per
in Scripture.

The Language of the Inner City - Respect, Revenue and ex-girlfriend revenge

The police are trying to crack down on knife and gun attacks. Many of these crimes are gang related and unfortunately the people in power, the policy makers, are normally totally out of tune with the problems and way of life on the street. They are normally government ministers, people who have had a private education and a privileged upbringing. It is about time they sought the advice of the people in the know, youth workers who live and breathe in the same communities as the people who are committing these crimes.
Gang and gun related crime is without doubt on the increase. Government officials can say whatever they want, the quote latest figures normally stating that crime levels are falling. Ask anyone in an inner city if they feel safer today than they did five years ago. The majority will most certainly say no.
Many of the gang members have been bought up watching movies and television which shows the bad man getting all the girls, driving the flash cars and wearing the best clothes. They see their gang leader living a similar type of life and they then want the same.
A typical gang member will come from an unstable family background. They will not feel particularly happy at home and will see the gang as their family. The gang will look out for them; help them when they are in trouble. What many people see as bad to them is acting with good intentions. They then see the so called bad as being good. Very confusing I know.
Many shootings and knife attacks are in ex-girlfriend revenge for some past misdemeanor. ex-girlfriend revenge is one of the three “r’s” on the site. The other two being respect and revenue. Revenue is about how you can earn money and how much, respect should no explanation.
Do you think any government official will be able to tell you what the three r’s are? I doubt it and that explains the main problem and why they are failing in their attempts to reduce knife and gun crime.
