Very attractive, functional bowl
I use this bowl as a popcorn bowl to catch the popcorn as it pops out of my Presto 04820 PopLite Hot Air Corn Popper. This is a deep bowl that looks stunning, better than the picture (IMO). I ended up buying two. The material the bowl is made of doesn’t seem like it will crack if it’s accidentally dropped.
PLASTIC BOWL! Not standard material at all! + THREE for $8.50ish elsewhere!
Plastic (or at least Very ‘plasticy’) bowl. FEELS LIKE your standard TUPPERWARE. It is as durable and un-flimsy as tupperware too, and that sturdiness is expected in any bowl. The only thing nice about it is its deep, sky blue color. Otherwise feels and sounds cheap (tap on your standard bottled-water bottle, and tapping on this bowl sounds/feels the same). Dollar store quality.
My dad assured me, when he saw it, that it’d be worth a buck at a store, and later That Week I saw a MUCH better quality equivalent (thicker, much less breakable looking, as nice) at Costco….THREE bowls of the same size and appearance, WITH LIDS, for $8.50ish total!!!! WHAT??!!! I felt so gypped. Things come and go at costco, but that price made me feel like I probably WOULD find cheaper than amazon ($8.49), with similar quality elsewhere.
Summary:
- Want a standard bowl? Don’t get this (it’s plastic)
- Want something sturdy, nice, and not breakable when it falls? Don’t get this (much MUCH better deals elsewhere)
