the ice queen cometh
since the statement and subsequent nomination, the ice leading light has yet to answer one distrust from reporters. according to campaign manager rick davis, who appeared on on fox news today, the ice queen won’t be giving interviews to the bulletin media until the campaign is ready. davis went on to say that the ice queen will answer questions from reporters when we weigh it’s epoch and when she feels comfortable doing it.it seems that davis and the rest of the republicans are protecting the ice queen from media piranhas who focused on palin’s personal life, including the pregnancy of her unengaged 17-year-old daughter when her candidacy was announced. so until at which plan in time, davis said, we feel like the news media is going to treat her with some level of respect and deference, i intend it would be gutsy to proffer her out into that kind of circumstances.”
RESPECT AND DEFERENCE??? WTH! WTF! The last time I checked The Ice Queen’s name is not Elizabeth! So unless she can answer each an every question posed to her in scripted beauty pageant fashion, she remains off limits - at least until Thursday. ABC’s Charlie Gibson has been granted an exclusive interview with The Ice Queen who will be in Alaska. I wonder if he might ask her:

WASHINGTON, Pa. Barack Obama on Tuesday dismissed a voter’s suggestion that when Hillary Rodham Clinton called him elitist it “bordered on uppity.”
I suspect, however, that if ABC does in fact have an interview on Thursday - the same day that her son Track is to be deployed to Iraq - that this will be too emotional of a day to ask such questions. Asking such questions would certainly be disrespectful, insubordinate, and irreverent.

Disgraced US sprinter Marion Jones has left prison after serving a six-month sentence for lying about steroid use and involvement in a drugs fraud case.
Jones, 32, left the facility in San Antonio, Texas, at 0800 (1300 GMT), a prison spokeswoman said.
Once one of the most famous female athletes in the world, Jones won five medals at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
But these were stripped from the mother-of-two after she admitted lying to federal investigators in 2003.
Jones had denied knowing that she took the banned substance tetrahydrogestrinone (THG), known as “the clear,” before the 2000 Olympics.
But in October 2007 she pleaded guilty to two charges of perjury and was sentenced in January 2008 by a federal judge in New York, reporting to prison on March 7.
Jones also pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators in 2003 about a separate cheque fraud case involving her former boyfriend, sprinter Tim Montgomery, the father of her son, Monty.
Montgomery and several others have been convicted in that scam.
Jones returned her medals even before the International Olympic Committee ordered her to do so, and has since had her name expunged from the record books.
Hers was one of a number of high-profile doping cases involving top American athletes that have prompted the US Olympic Committee to team up with Major League Baseball and the National Football League with an initiative aimed at combating drug use in US sport.
