Auto/Manual Traffic Exchange Setup Instructions

Install Via FTP:

  1. Please Note: some of the files are encrypted and code locked this is to help stop site from being hacked, code theft and protects our script from being modified.
  2. Please Note: You do not need to upload this "readme.html" file to server.
  3. Create folder in your Public HTML called "traffic" if running from folder ( folder can be re-named if you wish ).
  4. Open new "traffic" folder, then create following folders inside named "staff", "banners", "img", and "members" Chmod all to 755 except "staff" Chomd to 777. If you receive errors on the database back-up in your admin or if you receive internal server error when accessing admin Chomd back to 755.  Some servers require different permissions set for folders. If you still receive errors your server may not support this feature.
  5. Create the following folders in your public HTML folder, "staff", "banners", "img", and "members" Chmod all to 755 except "staff" Chomd to 777 if you receive errors on the database back-up in your admin or internal server error when accessing your admin Chomd back to 755. Some servers require different permissions set for folders.
  6. Open folder "img" and create folders "background" to "background20" Chmod to 755. Upload content from folders into your newly created folders on server remembering these must be uploaded in Binary mode only.  You will also notice some folders do not contain any images, these are ready for more layouts we may do in the future. If you want to create your own designs please start from folder "background21" this is so we don't overwrite your files with future backgrounds.
  7. Open "vars.php" in your editor ( recommended note pad ) and edit the variables. If running script from within a folder links within "vars.php" will also require the folder extension Example: http://www.yourdomainname.com/traffic some links also need / at end please fill in "vars.php" carefully if something is incorrect script will not work. Please Note: "vars.php" must be uploaded in ASCII mode only.
  8. "staff" folder should be password protected if your hosting service provides password protection for folders and content this will increase security level. Please Note: Chomd "staff" folder to 777, if you receive errors on the database back-up in your admin or internal server error when you click on "Database back-up" in your admin Chomd back to 755.  Some servers require different permissions set for folders. If you still get errors your server may not support this feature.
  9. Upload "php" files to your server in the appropriate directories you have just created. Upload in ( ASCII mode only ).
  10. "ratio.txt" must be Chmod to 777 the default value is 5:3 which is for 0.6 credits, if you change the ratio for the free account Example: 1 credit per page view then you need to change the ratio to 1:1 this is only for display only and will place this figure into correct pages on site. Please Note: "ratio.txt" can be edited in admin by clicking on "Style sheets/ratio".
  11. "style.css" must be Chmod to 777 Please Note: "style.css" sheet for main site can be edited in admin by clicking on "Style sheets/ratio".
  12. "bars.css" must be Chomd to 777 Please Note: "bars.css" sheet for surf bars can be edited in admin by clicking on "Style sheets/ratio".
  13. Images must be uploaded into "img" folder ( Binary mode only ).
  14. If you are not running from a folder "traffic", just follow from number 5. All files must be uploaded to server into your Public HTML folder.
  15. Now run "install.php" Examples: http://www.yourdomain.com/traffic/install.php or http://www.yourdomain.com/install.php substituting domain to your actual domain name. Once installation is complete you will then be taken to the admin panel. (DO NOT LEAVE THIS FILE ON SERVER)
  16. The first time you login to the admin panel the username and password is "test".
  17. When logged in, change admin info by clicking on "Admin set-up/site look" and add all your payment details, contact e-mail for members, admin password and admin login. You will find some help inside admin.
  18. You Have Now Finished Set-Up!!

Files Which Require Minimum Editing:

  1. All "set-up" for the entire site is done from admin by clicking on "system set-up" and customizing the settings.
  2. All files will automatically put in your site name, contact e-mail, PayPal, E-gold, CanPay, StormPay and  MoneyBookers e-mails and account numbers which was previously set-up in "Admin set-up/site look".
  3. Copyright on bottom of pages is automatically set-up with your site name and date, date changes automatically every year.

Script Requirements:

The script must run under these requirements:

  1. Unix Based Servers
  2. Apache Web Server
  3. MySQL 3.0+
  4. PHP 4.0+
  5. PHP Should NOT run in Safe Mode Or script may not run correctly.
  6. MySQL Database (phpMyAdmin Recommended).

Features Set-Up In Admin:

  1. In admin you will see system set-up here is where all the information is added and will be placed throughout the site in correct pages. Please read set-up carefully.
  2. There are 9 accounts which are set-up on installation Basic, Bronze, Rotation, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium, Platinum PRO and Titanium PRO you can rename these accounts if you wish just by overwriting the accounts and saving them. The basic account is the free account surf credit for each page view is set to 0.6 you can change this in admin to a lower or higher value. Bronze, Rotation, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium, Platinum PRO and Titanium PRO are the paying accounts the surf credit for each page view is set to a default value which also can be changed. You can also give free credits to members who pay for these accounts, the credits are added automatically. The value of free credits you give can be set different on all 7 paying accounts, also these accounts will stop after 30 days and set the paying members accounts back to basic once the Max. months no.: is set to 1=1 month. The Max. month no.: can be set from 1 to 12 months or unlimited. You can also add additional accounts if you wish.
  3. PayPal, PayPal Subscription, StormPay, StormPay Subscription, Can-Pay, E-gold and MoneyBookers buttons are automatically created into the correct pages once set-up in admin. You can also use a different payment method if not using any of these payment methods which when setting up you just add code into box provided in admin.
  4. Maximum number of URLs all members can add is set to 10 by default, you can change the maximum number of URLs allowed for each individual member hence another way to make some more money.
  5. Sell credits, banner impressions (banners display on all pages), text ads (text ads display on all pages except surf bars).
  6. Exchange can be set-up so sign-up is paid only this option is selected in admin on system set-up.
  7. Exchange can be set-up for an adult exchange only this option is selected in admin on system set-up.
  8. Default surf bars auto/manual gives members credits only. Extra surf bars auto/manual gives members credits and cash (optional). Extra surf bars for paid members gives paid members credit and cash can be set higher than free members surf bars (optional for each member). On cash surf bars you can also limit the amount of pages viewed within 24 hours, this will stop cheating if some members are running multiple computers.
  9. Give members warnings for breaking rules 3 warnings and accounts is suspended.
  10. We have made this software easy to install and very easy to use and added many ways in which money can be made. The entire site should be up and running within 30 minutes.
  11. In admin you can check for new versions and upgrades just by clicking on the link. Most upgrades will be FREE and some there will be a small CHARGE depending upon the type of upgrade.
